Carrot Cheesecake

Creamy and tasty carrot shaped cheesecake for Easter! It's an easy baked cheesecake, and the slices are decorated to look like carrots.

- Preheat oven to 325°F/160°C and line an 8 or 9-inch springform pan with parchment paper.

How to Make  Carrot Cheesecake (1/6):

- In a bowl, combine the Oreo cookie crumbs with melted butter then press the mixture into the pan. - In another bowl combine cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla and beat with a hand mixer. Add eggs and orange food coloring and mix again.

How to Make  Carrot Cheesecake (2/6):

- Pour the mixture over the Oreo crust, and bake for 55 minutes. - Cool for 1 hour in oven with the door slightly open. - Transfer to fridge and chill for 5 hours.

How to Make  Carrot Cheesecake (3/6):

- Slice the cheesecake into 8 servings  - Melt green candy melts and place into into a piping bag. Cut the bottom tip of the bag off. On a tray lined with parchment paper,  pipe the stems.

How to Make  Carrot Cheesecake (4/6):

- Melt orange candy melts and scoop into a small ziptop bag. Cut the bottom tip of the bag off making a smaller hole this time.  - Place the cheesecake slices on parchment paper and drizzle the orange over the cheesecake in a zig zag motion.

How to Make  Carrot Cheesecake (5/6):

– Squeeze a little amount in the middle at the top of the cheese cake, grab a stem and place on the candy melt dot. Let sit until all candy melt drizzles are hard and serve.
