Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with baking spray.
Unroll one container of crescent rolls and press into the bottom of your baking dish, coming up the sides of the pan about ½ inch. (You can also roll out the crescent dough on a lightly floured surface with a rolling pin).
Spread the ranch dressing onto the bottom crescent dough.
Add 6 slices of cheese onto the dough.
Evenly layer the deli turkey slices onto the cheese.
Place the remaining 6 slices of cheese on top.
Unroll the remaining crescent dough and roll out with a rolling pin to fit over the top of the fillings. Pinch any open seams closed.
Mix the beaten egg and ranch seasoning together in a small bowl and brush over the top of the crescent dough.
Cover with foil and bake in the oven for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 20-30 minutes until the top of the dough is cooked through and a golden brown.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Use parchment paper for easy lifting and slicing.
Seal the dough edges to prevent cheese from oozing out.
Swap cheddar with your favorite cheese for a different flavor.
Let sandwiches cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
