Easy and simple Virgin Piña Colada for all of your summer parties this year! All you need is 3 ingredients, a blender, and 5 minutes of your time to make a jug of Piña Colada that everyone will love.
Maraschino cherries and pineapple wedgesfor garnish, optional
whipped creamfor garnish, optional
Instructions
To the blender, add all of your ingredients and ice cubes if using.
Blend on high speed for 30-60 seconds or until the consistency is thick and creamy. If it's too thick, add a splash of water and blend again. If it's not thick enough, add more ice cubes and blend again.
Notes
If you can't find cream of coconut (Coco Lopez), substitute with coconut milk (full fat) and sweeten your drink with simple syrup.
To make the simple syrup: In a saucepan combine equal parts of granulated sugar and water and heat until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from the heat, and let it cool down (if in a hurry, place in a small jug and chill in the fridge).
The recipe above makes 2 large servings or 4 small ones.
