Chocolate sauceoptional, to drizzle before serving
Instructions
Take a pan that can definitely fit in your Air Fryer basket (I used 8x8"), and line it with parchment paper. Set Aside.
Preheat the Air Fryer to 350°F/180°C.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the brownie mix with ingredients written on the package to make it (usually egg, oil, water). You can also mix in sprinkles if desired. Pour the prepared batter into the pan, and smooth out the top with a spatula.
Place the pan with the brownie batter in the Air Fryer, and choose the "bake" setting if you have it, and set it at 15-20 minutes. If you don't have a "bake" setting, just set the temperature to 350°F/180°C.
Carefully remove the pan from the Air Fryer basket (use gloves!), and allow to cool down completely.
Top with a layer of chocolate frosting, and decorate with ghost PEEPS and sprinkles. The PEEPS can be laying down on the brownies, or standing up. Slice into squares, and drizzle with chocolate syrup if desired.
Notes
Keep in mind that all air fryers are different (and cook at different rates), so keep an eye on the brownies (start checking at 15 minutes mark). If you notice that they start to pull out of the sides or a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, it means that they're done.
If you're using the same Betty Crocker brownie mix I'm using, and you're after cake-like brownies, use 3 tablespoons water, 1/2 cup vegetable oil, and 3 large eggs.
For Neat Squares: To cut warm brownies, use a plastic knife and short sawing motions. For some reason, a plastic knife works much better than a metallic one.
Oven: You can do this in the oven in an 8x8", 9x9", or 9x13" size pans. For a 8x8" bake at 325°F/160°C for 50-52 minutes, 9x9" bake at 350°F/180°C 36-38 minutes, and for 9x13" bake at 350°F/180°C for 22-25 minutes. If you're using a non-stick pan, you need to shorten the baking time by 3 minutes.
