This is the best and easiest way to cook hard-boiled eggs in the Instant Pot. You will get consistent results every single time. Perfect hard-boiled eggs that are very easy to peel!
Add 1 cup of water to the bottom of the pot. Place a trivet, and the eggs and make sure that they're not touching the water.
Secure the lid and set the vent to SEALING. Select the PRESSURE COOK/MANUAL setting and set the cooking time for 5 minutes at high pressure. The Instant Pot will take around 6-7 minutes to come to pressure and start cooking. When the cooking program ends, allow the steam to be naturally released for 5 minutes, then release the rest of the steam manually.
Carefully open the lid, and using kitchen tongs place the eggs in a cold water bath for 5 minutes.
Remove the eggs from water, and they will peel easily and will be ready to be served.
