Lentil Dahl Recipe

Simple & delicious lentil dahl that’s packed with plant-based protein!

The ingredients:

Canola oil - cumin seeds - onion - ginger root - turmeric - green chill - garlic - curry powder - cinnamon - salt - vegetable stock - coconut milk - red lentils - cilantro leaves

1. Heat oil & toast the cumin seeds. Add the diced onion & sauté until it's soft.

How to Make the Best Lentil Dahl:

2. Add the grated ginger, turmeric, chili & garlic. Sauté until fragrant.

3. Add curry powder, cinnamon & salt. Then add stock & lentils. 4. Pour in the coconut milk & simmer for 20 minutes.

5. Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro or parsley leaves. Serve with basmati rice & naan or chapati bread.
